Frequently Asked Questions – Holiday Programs

What will the children do at the camps?
All Kiddie Kicks holiday programs will consist of activities and games sessions selected from a range of different sports. The day starts off with a fun warm up session and then continues with sports sessions and team challenges. We break for a 15 minute morning tea and half hour lunch.

How do I book?
You can book online by completing the enrolment form on this website or by calling 0423 918 091. Your child/children’s place will be confirmed once payment has been received. Payments can be made via direct debit or by cheque made out to ‘Kiddie Kicks Soccer’, or via credit card using our PayPal facility.

Does my child have to be good at sports to attend?
Not at all.  Our school holiday programs cater for all abilities.  Groups will be divided into both age and ability levels and there will also be mixed-level ability groups throughout the day to provide an even playing field for any team challenges or games.

What time do you start and finish?
Our programs run from 8:30am to 1:30pm.

Can I drop my child earlier or collect later?
Drop off times can be as early as 8.15am and all children must be collected by 1.30pm.*

* If you require an earlier drop off or later collection time, then please call to discuss. Fees may apply.

What equipment does my child need to bring?
Children will need to wear comfortable sports clothing such as shorts or tracksuit pants and a T-shirt.  In cooler weather, please bring a jacket or sweatshirt to wear during break times.  Trainers or shoes suitable for court sports (with non-marking soles) should be worn.  A spare change of clothing is also recommended just in case! All sporting equipment will be provided.

What food and drinks should my child bring?
Children will need to bring a packed lunch and snacks in a clearly named lunch box or bag (lunch should not consist of any nuts or nut products). Your child should bring a clearly labelled drink bottle containing water. They will be able to refill this throughout the day.

We have a nut free policy for participants at all holiday programs. We may provide ice blocks or small treats during the camp. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or issues with certain types of food.

What family discount is available?
Siblings can attend at a discounted rate of 10% off for the same program.  A separate enrolment form will need to be completed for each child.

What happens if my child gets sick or injured during the camp?
A credit of the equivalent amount will be provided to attend a future program. Once the camp has commenced please note we are not able to offer refunds.

What is the refund policy?
In the event of not being unable to attend, a full credit to a future session is provided, as long as we are notified of the cancellation at least 24 hours before the program commences.  If the credit is not suitable a full refund less $30 administration fee will be organised if we are notified 24hrs before the program commences.

How are the children divided into groups?
Children will be split up based on age, ability level and friends. Throughout the day children may be grouped into teams with a range of other aged children to have fun team competitions.

Can parents stay and watch?
Parents are welcome to stay and watch, but there is no need to.  Our coaches will ensure they have a great time!  You can call the Noosa Leisure Centre at anytime during the day if you have any concerns or need to be re-assured.

Do all the staff have working with children checks?

Yes, all staff have a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
